The problem it solves
The usual accessibility plugin is an overlay: a line of JavaScript that promises a great deal and changes nothing underneath. Mentora Accessibility does the opposite. It reads your real pages against the WCAG 2.2 guidelines, tells you page by page what is wrong, and fixes inside WordPress the things that can honestly be fixed there.
What it does
The scan runs in your own browser
The pages are loaded in a hidden frame and analysed there, so the hosting carries nothing and there is no queue on a server somewhere. Pages behind a login — cart, checkout, account — are scanned with your own session, which the checkers that work from outside cannot do.
Inspection mode
Every problem is framed on the page itself, with the criterion it breaks, what to do about it, and a link straight to the right editor. It is a tool for whoever runs the site, visible only to them, and never something shown to visitors.
It corrects what can be corrected
Alt text from the media library, the language of the page, the skip link, missing titles. The Pro version adds a corrective stylesheet for contrast, for the focus ring, for the size of the targets, and a guided checklist for the criteria that only a person can judge.
