If a plugin is not what you expected, ask for your money back. The request goes through Freemius, because that is who you bought it from.
Who you bought it from
Mentora Pro plugins are sold through Freemius, who act as merchant of record. In plain terms: the sale is a contract between you and Freemius, they take the payment, they issue the invoice, and they handle the refund.
We mention it first because it decides everything else on this page — including the fact that we cannot process a refund ourselves even when we would like to.
The window
You can ask for a full refund within [N] days of the purchase, for any reason. You do not owe us an explanation, although we would be glad to hear one: most refunds point at something we should fix.
How to ask
From your Freemius account, open the licence and use the refund option there. If you cannot find it, or the purchase is not showing, write to info@mentoralabs.it and we will take it up with them on your behalf.
The refund goes back to the payment method you used. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank, not on us or on Freemius.
What happens to the licence
It is cancelled: automatic updates and support stop. The plugin itself keeps working, because the code is GPL — see the licence terms.
Free versions
There is nothing to refund: every plugin has a free version on wordpress.org, and the honest way to find out whether a plugin suits you is to install that one first.
Your rights as a consumer
If you bought as a consumer in the European Union, you have a right of withdrawal under European law. Digital goods are a special case — the right can lapse once the download starts, if you agreed to that at checkout — and nothing on this page reduces whatever rights the law gives you.
